Integration delivery plan — 7 October 2026
The evaluation site implements dealer-facing selection, advert validation and public-only review downloads. It does not submit stock, finance applications or payments to external services. `integrations/outbox.mjs` is a tested provider-independent contract, not a deployed production queue. Its only transport mode is explicitly test. No guessed endpoint or unapproved provider schema is shipped.
What the dealer should do
Choose the provider, confirm their existing account and select eligible stock. Bivetica performs mapping, access checks and acceptance testing. The dealer sees a meaningful per-car state: needs details, awaiting account setup, queued, waiting for acceptance, accepted, or needs attention. A successful HTTP request is not an accepted listing. Last accepted version and removal state must remain visible.
Recommended architecture
Motors owns stock, preparation, contacts and selected destinations. A versioned public projection excludes costs, owners, buyer details, private documents and Book sources. Save operations create outbox events in the same transaction as stock updates. Workers map the projection using each contracted schema. Partner credentials are encrypted server-side, scoped to dealer and provider, never requested by the evaluation site. Each dealer/provider/vehicle/version has a stable idempotency key.
Use provider-approved API, feed pull, or managed file transport. Confirm full-snapshot versus incremental removal semantics before sending any empty file. Reconcile full stock periodically to catch missed notifications. Retain accepted listing references, image errors, rejected fields and provider acknowledgements. Retry transient failures with bounded backoff; stop on access, validation or commercial eligibility errors. Failed provider delivery never silently overwrites the dealer's facts. Avoid two systems competing to set price or sold status.
Invoice owns issued financial documents and payment state. Stripe/PayPal card deposits and GoCardless Direct Debit use the dealership's own merchant identity and payout destination. Bivetica subscription billing is separate. Hosted checkout avoids collecting card or bank credentials. Signed provider callbacks plus a fresh server-side read validate merchant, currency, amount, invoice, vehicle and intent. Return URLs and mandate authorisation do not confirm payment. Reservation expiry, concurrent buyers, refunds, chargebacks and sold vehicles need explicit state transitions and auditable reconciliation.
Finance quotes/applications use approved provider journeys. Stock feeds do not contain applicants' income, credit data or application answers. Dealers review facts and disclosures; provider access and applicable permissions must be verified before activation. Do not manufacture APR or approval likelihood.
Provider findings and next implementable step
| Provider | Established public route | Practical next step | Access remaining |
| Auto Trader | Partner APIs; official integration fundamentals and Stock Sync go-live tests | Obtain licensed developer access; implement 15-minute token reuse, advertiser mapping, signed notifications, baseline stock, rate-limit/error handling; demonstrate required acceptance cases | Partner agreement, dealer permissions, test/live access and go-live approval |
| ChooseMyCar / ChooseMyFinance | Official dealer page offers a complimentary stock feed and a separate co-branded finance portal | Request feed schema/transport/refresh/removal rules and dealer mapping; link approved portal separately | Commercial onboarding and private technical specification |
| CarMoney | Official services page describes dealer partners, proposal portal and Codeweavers/AutoConvert/Experian relationships | Confirm stock feed versus hosted finance referral/application. Obtain approved link/widget/API documentation and callback contract | No open stock/API schema established; do not invent one |
| Car & Classic | Official help confirms CSV feeds for trade users arranged through DMS suppliers | Build exact CSV adapter after current columns, dealer identifiers, photo and removal rules supplied | Trade account and agreed ingest contract |
| Dyler | Official article provides JSON/XML/CSV examples for approved dealers | Example JSON retained locally; map confirmed public fields only, report missing fields rather than inventing power/VIN/options | Article dates 2021; verify current schema, approval, ingest and removal contract |
| MOTORS / Cazoo | Official 2025 feed PDF documents CSV into an assigned private FTP account; file review; twice-daily updates | Obtain linked mandatory-field table/example, review file and secure agreed transport. Do not silently assume SFTP if provider says FTP | Account assignment, schema approval, brand scope and removal behaviour |
| PistonHeads / CarGurus | Dealer programmes and listings products; existing Motors choices only validate locally | Obtain approved supplier feed specification, dealer mapping, image handling and listing acknowledgements | No current public schema established in this review |
| Codeweavers | Official calculator/application platform and help pages | Contract approved hosted calculator/application first; API adapter only after authorised documentation | Product, dealer/lender eligibility, credentials, permissions and disclosures |
| iVendi / AutoConvert | Finance partner products; separate from stock feed | Confirm contracted journey, permitted prefill, consent and status return | Commercial contract and technical docs |
| Stripe | Official Connect supports businesses collecting customer payments; Invoice live checkout doc covers Bivetica's own subscriptions | Reuse Invoice ledger; add dealer-owned Connect onboarding/hosted checkout and webhook reconciliation for deposits | Dealer merchant flow is separate and not established by existing subscription checkout |
| GoCardless | Existing Invoice merchant-scoped foundation and hosted bank authorisation | Reuse foundation, verify partner approval/current flags, test delayed confirmed payment and refund reversals | Current certification/merchant activation must be checked; not inferred from code |
| PayPal | Public developer platform | Choose appropriate merchant/partner product, hosted checkout and server-verified events through Invoice | No Bivetica merchant connection verified |
| CAP HPI / history checks | Licensed specification/valuation/provenance products | Purchase appropriate rights, per-check charge review and saved source/date/reference; correction workflow | Contract, usage rights and account configuration |
| Book | Existing restricted Motors estimate route | Preserve range/confidence/date and source isolation; show unavailability honestly | Restricted rollout and real-dealer validation |
| Meta | Existing Motors draft/review/publish code; general publishing disabled in reviewed runtime | Keep branded downloads; activate one authorised test account after app/account permissions | Provider approval/account readiness and actual posting acceptance |
| Separate measurement, ads and vehicle-feed products | Confirm UK programme/product eligibility; implement consent-aware events and outcome attribution separately | Merchant/ads access and current vehicle-programme eligibility |
Entire observed catalogue coverage
Every named channel is recorded in `evidence/provider-coverage.csv`. Providers with no established technical contract remain research/onboarding items. AA, CarCliq, Friday-Ad, camper/caravan channels, Carlover, CarsLink AI, CarsVansAndBikes, carwow, eBay, Exchange and Mart, Gumtree, heycar, LocalCars4Sale, PureCar, UsedCarsNI, Zuto, Classic Driver and mobile.de are not assumed to share an API. Confirm current availability, dealer eligibility, price, stock limits, licence, schema and ingest/removal behaviour for each. A photographed logo is not proof that a destination still operates that programme.
Visitor Chat, Dealer Connect 360, Vehicles in Video, Warrantywise, Compliance Guys, IMDA, Cartotrade and InAutomotive are classified as optional widget, media, warranty, compliance, membership, trade or recruitment relationships. AWS and Solera are infrastructure/vendor relationships. They are not all stock portals. The recommended delivery includes an assessment of each category without installing a logo wall or implying every partner is a live API.
Data accuracy and trust
The dealer's account of losing confidence in Autopro is reported feedback, not a verified general finding. It guides the proposed trust model: keep original dealer input, identify imported or estimated fields, date the evidence, offer correction without destructive overwrite and make unresolved differences visible. Vehicle specification, MOT history, finance eligibility, Book estimates and purchase/profit numbers need distinct labels. Save field provenance and correction history in the production record. Failed validation says which fact needs checking; it does not insist an uncertain provider value is correct.
Activation acceptance
For every stock provider: onboard one fictional/test dealer; add, edit price, reorder images, reserve, sell and remove; test missing fields, image rejection, duplicate delivery, revoked access and timeout; verify the actual destination and reconcile version/IDs. For payments: confirm merchant ownership, currency/amount, duplicate webhook, unsuccessful checkout, delayed debit, refund, disputed payment and reservation concurrency. For finance: approved example expiry, stock-price change, permitted provider prefill, consent and verified status return. Record actual provider evidence before calling a connection live.
Draft provider onboarding request — prepared, not sent
We are developing Bivetica Motors, a UK dealer stock and workflow platform. We would like your authorised integration route for dealer stock feeds and/or finance referrals. Please provide supported products, supplier eligibility, technical schema, transport, dealer mapping, sandbox access, rate limits, image handling, full/delta/removal rules, listing/status acknowledgements, data rights, consent requirements, fees and production acceptance procedure. We can supply a public-only stock projection and demonstrate idempotency, isolation and removal handling. Customer applications and merchant payments are handled separately from stock exports.
